A letter to my Mother, Donna Simeon
Thank you for guiding me into the man that I have become today. You taught me to be kind, gentle and empathetic to others. I know raising me and my sister was not easy and there were always struggles, but even through all of that you were able to lay down some solid principles of how to be a good person and a good man.
Mother’s day always makes me thankful for being in this world and having the experiences I have lived to enjoy and hate. But, this mother’s day is a bit more special. After 35 years, you have finally moved out of the house I grew up in. It’s amazing to realize that you’ve been in the same house for my entire life. It was weird to move you last weekend, but very satisfiying to see you’ve finally moved on [the drama of my childhood house is closing]. Now you’re starting a new life, I hope this path is better than where you’ve been before.
Mom, Happy Mothers’s Day! Thank you again for giving me life and direction. I want you to know that I’m here for you. If you need anything at all, all you have to do is ask and I will be there. Just realize, I’m not a mind reader and that you have to give in order to receive.
I love you mom,
-Ken

Kris,
Thanks for stopping by our site. I’m glad you enjoyed the post. Come back often, we try to update every other day. But being parents, that schedule doesn’t always work out.
Thanks again,
Ken
